We walk past them every day, usually without seeing them: Yet there is an amazing diversity of flowering plants, grasses and lichens in our cities. They literally grow everywhere – between paving stones, in cracks in the asphalt and on the curbs. Today we want to take a closer look at this biodiversity. Together with the two experts of the #Krautschau participatory action, Dr. Julia Krohmer and Prof. Dr. Alexandra-Maria Klein, we will discover wild plants in urban spaces and explore their significance for cities.
Join us to get to know these “crack rebels”! If the weather is good, we will go outside together afterwards and discover together what all is growing in front of our own door.
